Wing Commander Mohammad Rajiur Rahman was commissioned in Engineering branch of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) on 01 December 2004. He obtained Bachelor of Science (Computer Science & Engineering) degree from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 2007 and Doctor of Philosophy (Computer Science) degree from University of Houston, Houston, Texas, USA in 2021. He attended different professional courses at home and abroad. Some of the mentionable courses are Aeronautical Engineering (Avionics) Course from Air Force Technical College (India), Junior Command and Staff Course in BAF, and Cyber Security Course from MIST. He graduated from Defense Services Command and Staff College in 2022.
Wing Commander Rajiur, during his service career served in different appointments such as Officer-in-Charge PT-6 Flight Line of No 11 Sqn, Officer-in-Charge IT Sqn of BAF Communication (Unit), Assistant Director of Cyber Warfare and Information Technology Directorate, Air Headquarters, and Officer-in-Charge Communication and Electronics Squadron at BAF Base Cox’s Bazar. He also performed instructional duties at BAF Academy, Officers’ Training School and Command and Staff Training Institute. He is presently serving as Head, Avionics Department of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Aviation and Aerospace University (BSMRAAU), Dhaka.
