About Wing Commander Abni Rabbani Mohammad Golam Farooque:
I was born in Bangladesh on 9 February 1978 and joined Bangladesh Air Force Academy in 1999 as Flight Cadet. I was commissioned in General Duties (Pilot) branch from Bangladesh Air Force Academy back in 27 May 2001 with a Bachelor degree in Aeronautics as pilot. Last twenty-two years I have flown military transport aircrafts as Co-pilot and Captain, as well as served in Bangladesh Air Force Academy and transport aircraft flying training unit as flying instructor to impart training for pilots. In total I could achieve more than 3100 hours of flying experience which includes single and multi-engine aircrafts. I am also qualified as a Flight Safety Officer of Bangladesh Air Force, as well as experienced in air operation planning in United Nations Peacekeeping Mission in Haiti. Recently I have served in Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh as Principal Flight Operation Inspector.
